How a session works

Every session follows the same rhythm

Girls know what to expect each month, which makes it easier to open up, take part and practice what they learn.

  1. Welcome Circle An icebreaker that opens the circle and sets a safe, positive tone.
  2. Mini Lesson A facilitator-led conversation on the month’s topic.
  3. Hands-on Activity Glow Shields, role-play, feelings wheels, vision boards and more.
  4. Reflection Journal A guided prompt that helps each girl put her thoughts into words.
  5. GLOW Challenge One small action to practice during the week, so the lesson goes home with her.

The curriculum
